Your Place to Relax

Our open-plan main house is the heart of the lodge. Here you’ll find the dining area, a cosy terrace, the bar and a comfortable lounge and fireplace area – perfect for starting the day, meeting other guests or simply enjoying a drink in the evening.

When the African sun gets a little warmer, our pool is the perfect place to cool off. Stretch out on one of the sun loungers, take a refreshing dip and simply enjoy the peace and the incredible views across the surrounding landscape.

In the evening, head over to our cosy sundowner spot with its fire pit. Grab a cold drink, sit back and watch the African sun slowly disappear behind the Erongo Mountains. Later, the sky comes alive with countless stars – the perfect way to end the day.

Nature at Its Best – With All the Comforts

Our modern solar power system supplies the lodge with reliable, quiet and sustainable energy, allowing you to enjoy your stay without a worry while keeping our impact on the environment as low as possible.

Good food is simply part of the experience with us!

Your stay includes a hearty breakfast every morning and a delicious 3-course dinner in the evening – freshly prepared and a little different every day.

In the evening, just sit back and let yourself be surprised. Our chef creates varied dishes using fresh, local ingredients, along with delicious Namibian specialties. And when the smell of a fire fills the air, a traditional Namibian braai is, of course, a must.

    From Swakopmund

From Swakopmund, take the B2 via Usakos to Karibib, then continue on the C33 towards Omaruru. From Omaruru, follow the signposted route via the D2315 and D2316 to the lodge.

The drive takes approximately 3 hours and covers around 240 km.

    The final kilometres…

From Omaruru, follow the D2315 and then the D2316 to Erongo Lodge. The route is signposted – but especially the D2316 has a character of its own!

It’s a true Erongo road: rugged, natural and sprinkled with plenty of Erongo rocks.

regular car can manage the route when the roads are dry. However, a 4x4 is definitely the more comfortable option, allowing you to enjoy the final kilometres at a more relaxed pace.

Think of the drive as the beginning of your Erongo adventure. Once you’ve made it through the final kilometres, you’ll be rewarded with peace, wide-open spaces and a truly unique landscape.
